Vision, as seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is an artificial being with a vibranium body. He first appeared in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015).
He was created by Ultron to serve as a powerful host body, but was instead taken by the Avengers. With the combined efforts of Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, and Thor, and using the Mind Stone (one of the Infinity Stones), Vision was given life. He quickly allied himself with the Avengers against Ultron.
Vision possesses superhuman strength, durability, flight, and the ability to manipulate his density. He also has the power to project energy beams from the Mind Stone in his forehead. A key aspect of his character is his quest to understand humanity and morality.
